Buckeye Brewed Sweet Tea

Makes 2 quarts
Total Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar (or to taste!)
2 quarts boiling water
6 tea bags
​
Directions
Add boiling water and tea bags to a heat proof pitcher. Let steep for 20 minutes. Remove tea bags, add sugar, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.

Lemonade

Makes 1 quart
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1 cup lemon juice
4 cups water
​
Directions
Dissolve sugar in 1 cup water heated in a saucepan. Add sugar water, lemon juice, and 4 cups of water to a heat proof pitcher and stir. Let cool. Add additional lemon juice, water, or sugar to taste.

Pomegranate Punch

Makes 12 servings
Total Time 45 minutes
Ingredients
2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice
2 cups limeade
1 750 milliliter bottle of Asti Spumante
Lime and orange slices

Directions
Combine pomegranate juice, orange juice, limeade, and Asti Spumante in a large serving pitcher. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with orange and lime slices.

Ingredients
1 32 oz. bottle of Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix
11/2 cups vodka
3 large celery stalks (or substitute pickles/ pickled asparagus)
1 bottle Tabasco Original Red Pepper Sauce
1 ground pepper shaker

Directions
Combine Bloody Mary mix and vokda in a serving pitcher. Rim edge of glass with cut lemon and then dip glass into a plate of celery salt. Add ice, Bloody Mary, and a stalk of celery to each glass. Add Tabasco and pepper to taste.

​Hoosier Hot Chocolate

Makes 5 servings
Total Time 15 minutes

3/4 tsp. vanilla extract
4 cups milk
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
Dash salt
Miniature marshmellows or sweetened whipped cream

Directions
Stir together sugar, cocoa, and salt in medium saucepan; Stir in water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk. Stirring constantly, heat to serving temperature. Do Not Boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat with rotary beater or whisk until foamy. Serve topped with marshmellows or whipped cream.

Apple Cider
​
Makes 8 servings
Total Time 15 minutes

Ingredients
1 apple
2 tsp. whole cloves
1 orange, thinly sliced
2 quarts apple cider
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp. allspice
Pinch grated nutmeg
1 cup dark rum
Cinnamon sticks, garnish

Directions
Stud the apple with the cloves. In a medium pot, combine the studded apple and remaining ingredients except the rum. Slowly bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the rum. Discard the apple. Ladle into mugs and garnish each with a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Madison Mimosa​
Makes 6 servings
Total Time 10 minutes

Ingredients
3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice (12 medium oranges)
1 750 milliliter bottle of your favorite champagne
​
Directions
Chill orange juice in a freezer or refrigerator. Fill a flute glass or wine glass half with chilled orange juice and half with chilled champagne. Garnish with mint leaf.

Mohito
Makes 4 servings
Total Time 1 hour

Ingredients
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 cups mint leaves chopped
Rum and club soda

Directions
Add water and sugar to a saucepan and dissolve sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, add mint, and let cool for 30 minutes. Strain mint syrup. Add 2 tablespoons of the mint syrup and 2 ounces of light rum to a tall glass filled with ice. Add club soda. Garnish with lime and mint leaf.
